My eager hope is to touch another
These words to reach a sister or brother
Filling their soul with trust in goodly things
For we are powerful spiritual beings

God gave us life and freedom to explore
Unique abilities, talents and more
He loves us and wants us to be at peace
Through continued faith, guidance will increase

When we implore him to help us discern
Humility will allow us to learn
When we discover a gift God bestows
As we share it, it perpetually grows

But it's our choice whether to seek or not
And if we'll share what the spirit has taught
If we open our hearts we will be blessed
God is patient, waiting for our request

I pray to be a channel in the gale
And for words of wisdom to fill the sail
I ask that they may help someone transform
Though I am but a vessel in the storm
