I sit her in her arms, remembering her charms.
Past the point of no return.
It's tearing us apart.
The saddest feeling in our hearts;
that nothing can be done.
No chance to salvage our love...
we will never again be one.
The dark emotion that I feel...
it's terrifyingly real.
There is no hope for us.
She made a mistake and cost her my trust.
No apology can change that.
Its tearing us apart.
Her eyes fill with tears
as she confesses her infidelity.
I stare at her face in disbelief;
almost completely incoherently.
Now I'm back to the very last embrace;
knowing I'm at the end.
We cry in each other's arms,
realizing we'll never cross paths again.
I don't want it to be over
but what's done is done.
5 years of wonderful memories now all gone.
It has torn the two of us apart.
