King of cowards
You destroy the bridge you've built underfoot,
to quicken your fate below.
Falling into unknown depths;
will the waters be deep or shallow?
If the badge you seek red or yellow?
To escape your fears or to stand your ground.
Will you ever step into the ring for another round?
No matter where you hide you'll still be found.
Don't you know that even cowards get crowned?
The crown you'll wear won't be gleaming gold.
The kingdom you will rule is six feet below.
Your reign will be forever from your wooden throne.
Too bad you won't be aware of your eternal home.
There is no reward for bringing your life to an end.
No quitters of life were ever meant to win.
Listen to the advice of the Apostle Paul...
"The easy way out" isn't so easy after all.
