Hitmen

Twenty six million we have put to death.
Our methods of execution always takes their last breath.
We're quick and efficient; our "hits" are fast.
Each victim's feeble struggle will be it's last.
We perform our profession with no remorse;
with thousands dead each there can be no recourse.
Despite what we do we're respected by some.
Regardless of opposition business continues to come.
Legislation of "hits" is brought before congress each day.
Fortunately for us they prefer to look the other way.
Politicians don't want to get into a morality debate.
Their efforts would be harmful on their re-election date.
Our clients seek our services for what we will do.
We eliminate responsibility and inconvenience too.
We take advantage of distress;
emotions cloud their thinking and we do the rest.
They come to us asking what they should do.
Our recommendation is simple... "Let us take care of 'it' for you."
The lives that I end mean nothing to me,
all I care about is collecting my fee.
The competition is tough it's hard to compete
but business is booming and the earnings can't be beat.
$300 dollars for this 'hit';
now sign on the dotted line.
Now if you die on the operating table our clinic
won't be closed down or fined.
Our supporters twist the issue
and makes what's obviously wrong; unclear.
The MURDERS we perform are legal,
so what do we have to fear?
Judgement and retribution.
