"Persecution is the sincerest form of flattery"

Throughout time oppression
has been reserved for the undeserving.
Those people seem to pose
the greatest "threat" to the insecure.
Time after time
it all boiled down to insane jealousy;
as the Nazi's attempted to rid the world
of those less than "pure".
Corralled into concentration camps.
Freedom locked away;
not unlike birds in a cage.
Secured with barbed wires and armed guards.
Experimented on inhumanely without food until they starved...
The victims of oppression had their lives drained like a battery.
It didn't matter to them that persecution
is the sincerest form of flattery!
