An Ink Stains Short-Story

Letter from the Victim

Hello F.B.,

I’m the one you KILLED a while back. I was allowed this unique opportunity to write to you because I went through “proper channels” and filled out all the required forms in triplicate.
The authorities here decided that my situation with it’s special circumstances justified my unusual request for correspondence with you; my murderer.
Perhaps you don’t remember me because time has passed and I’m sure you have had many other victims.
I haven’t encountered any of them yet here “on the other side” but it seems to me that it’s only a matter of time. Someone like you would never be satisfied with just one victim’s blood on your hands.

The cold, cruel way you disposed of my corpse after torturing me and severed my body into pieces proves that you have no respect at all for life or even the basic inherent decency to give a proper burial for the dead.
You just tossed out my remains in the garbage for the maggots to dispose of. This is why I’ve written you this letter. I want you to realize that your time is coming and I will be waiting for your arrival anxiously! My revenge will be sweet, and so will your flesh. Here; those who were weak in life are strong and the ones who were powerful are helpless against their former victims! The innocent slaughtered will be vinticated. I couldn’t wait until you arrive here “on the other side”; I had to tell you now so you would know what was in store for you!

P.S. In the afterlife, we are the size of humans and you are the small and defenseless ones like I was as a chicken!
