The Mirror

Quiet she stands and for awhile she sees
only Sammy looking at looking at sweet Sammy
Soon soft a breeze tickles first here then there
now spiced winds wander so wide the world where
souls take lofty flight to wander with lyrical air

Silver moon shines sky high and free
silent round window where spirits see
passion painting life far upon a distant beach
as midnight bathes loves' misty masterpiece

Just beyond breaking free rolling in the ocean crests
waiting waves waiting song; the shore a wish to reach
From inside many feelings cry out in urgent need
while a thought sets sail upon the deep blue sea
to watch time make new pieces of moonlight eternity

Tender embrace is the warm horizons only care
where stars are angel hands in heavens hair
Tingling bits of dreams, tactile sparks of mystery
touch wondering eyes, reflect sweet Sammy
